Turned over to this as I pulled into the driveway this evening.

As I turned her off, the radio displayed a “clean aerial” message. Not being one to ignore what she tells me to do, I did.

 

I don't know if that's miles or kilometers, but in either case it is impressive. My '03 VDP will cross 50,000 mile mark today enroute to a British Car show. Love these beasts.

That’s kilometres so just over 67,000 miles.

And loveable liveable beast is a pretty apt/desirable description for a daily driver.

Now that is absolutely gorgeous!!!

Getting together and photographs are both absolutely in order and normally I would suggest this afternoon but we are in Singapore at the moment and won’t be back until the first week of November.

If there’s no snow on the ground, we’ll have to pick a spot for the photoshoot, otherwise I’ll get the snow tires on the XJR and we’ll come to you as something tells me that she won’t be your daily driver for the winter.

As far as winter usage goes - I am much too old to save anything for my “old age”. Just like the Allante unless there is a full on blizzard it will be used and appreciated.

 

Thanks - we will say hello and we are enjoying! We’re here for three weeks so nothing much is rushed. Our last week we’ll get up to Kuala Lumpur for a few days and relax in Mallaca for a couple days to celebrate our 52nd anniversary then back to Singapore to wrap up and head home.

We’ll have to think about a photo shoot somewhere with a couple feet of snow to show the rest of the Forum what these beasts are really made for.
