Leather repair (Beige) for 99 VP
#2
I tried several products and the results were temporary. 2 weeks or so.
In the end I bought glove leather from the craft store and glued it on top of the tears. Oh, the humanity!
Actually, it looks better than the "botox job" of the crack filler. It has also held fast for three months. The color is a good match for the original oatmeal.

it depends on the extent of the damage, but I use Gliptone Scuffmaster, they have all the Jaguar colours, and they're used by Jaguar....

It cost about $125. He replaced a panel on the outer edge of the seat that had been torn. Came to the office, removed the seat cover, put a towel down, and came back the next day and reinstalled the repaired cover. He also did the same thing with my headliner. He was very experienced with Jags and did a great job! Still stinks of glue tho...
