As I'm writing this, my XJR is getting polished and wet/color-sanded to a concourse mirror finish in the fashion that my show-car XJS was done and I just can't wait 'til Friday when I pick it up. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve...

Cheers,

Reinaldo,
Thanks for the compliments on my pictures. I have always loved the look of the X308 and agree with your feelings as well. I am in So Cal too and I'm looking for a club to join. Any recommendations? I work in San Diego but I am all over So Cal.
Thanks,
Jason

I Bought this 2001 XJR sight-unseen on an online auction. It was filthy when I picked it up but cleaned up nicely.

Those are both beautiful drives.
Again amazed what nice rims can add to the design of these cars.

I also have a 2002 XJR100 with the BBS Montreal Wheels but I think the Asteroid wheels look more appropriate.

I'd have to disagree. But we all have opinions.

One thing I have to say is that Jaguar genuinely rarely has ugly wheels from the factory. The "ugliest" XK8 ones seems to be the revolvers (which still look quite nice), and even the plainest X308 wheels look nice. I like my Pentas, but like the Asteroids, Montreals and others.

Think it all got to do with using concave rims or not.

Non-concave rims put the car more pronounced on its 4 legs like on the 100, concave wheels seem to flow a bit better with the body design.

As you say, to each its own.

Default New Paws

So I gave my cat new paws last weekend.
I think they're sexy.

Looking good, any info on sizes of rims and tires?
In case the OEM caps don't fit, you can have some JAGUAR center cap stickers made to fit to finish it of.
There was a link floating around on this x308 forum recently.

Hey,
Rims are Lenso 17" x 8". Tyres are 235x45. Would've liked 245 but was a package deal too good to pass up.
Will definitely be getting Jag stickers made for the lock nuts.
