Info is sketchy, and I checked lots of sites and forums.
I guess it might have changed over the years as well, but enclosed the ride heights as specified by Jaguar.

It is plumb blossom season here on the island, and every mountain road is lined with pink trees.
It attracts thousand of people from the city, and you better don't be on these roads after 8AM for 2 weeks.

However, took the VDP out at 6AM, just about sunset over the mountain top, and it was a wonderful little ride.

2001 XJ8 with 1996 XJ wheels and a $35 trunk spoiler from ebay. Certainly not as nice as most of the others posted here but I've always liked it. And I don't think it really needs anything else...except maybe some better exhaust tips...and a rebuilt transmission.

Eric - what sort of air-dam do you have under the front bumper? I really like the low centre of gravity of the front end of your VDP.

Jay, thanks.
I run a full Glanz body kit (front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler) on the car, and added universal rubber front spoiler lips for some protection (which took the scraping when my front shock let go, and the car dropped).

Eric is the inspiration that has me building a paint booth/tent in my side yard @ 2 am, draped in boxer shorts & an a-shirt(to my neighbors' joy or distress) lol ! Almost done, I'm going to do color instead of just trying to correct the clear coat.

You're car is spot on for what I have always envisioned these cars to be, kudos sir !

I sincerely apologize to your neighbors for the distress , but I am glad you took the challenge on doing the paintwork.

PAINTED REAR TRUNK BOOT LIP SPOILER FOR Jaguar XJ 1986-2003 Sedan | eBay
Yes it is. The color match was perfect. I also opted for the curved ends for $1.00 more. Well worth it. Only issue with it is it could have been a 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer. But all-in-all, a nice addition to an already nice car.

These are the only other ones I have that are any good at all. I'll try and take a few more tomorrow.

It looks/feels like flexable rubber with very strong double-stick tape on the bottom. Not gaudy or boy-racer but just enough to add that finishing touch to the back end. Looks good on a 308 but I don't think it would on a 350/358 (I also have an '04).

I think it actually looks better in person. Could be my photography skills (or lack there of...)

How long did it take to arrive, as I see it's shipping from Taiwan, thanks.

Not long at all if I'm remembering correctly. About a week I think. Being on the West Coast I get things off ebay from the Orient fairly quickly.

Can you determine if the spoiler was clear coated as well, or simply just painted. @ this price point I shouldn't be so picky, but alas is the blessing & the curse lol.

Thanks

I'm really not sure. Shoot them an email. If it isn't then grab a can at the store. Is there such a thing as "flexible" clear coat There must be.

I always liked the looks of the car, for a 4-door sedan, but the rear end kind of just dropped off or faded away. This little spoiler gives a little more balance to it. Probably helps with the aero-dynamics whilst I'm putt-puttin' to 7-11.
