After a few diy repairs (I had to fab up a temporary bushing for one of my sway bar links to stop a sudden horrible clanking) my x308 is back on the road for Christmas, driving into the morning sunrise...

The bushing was a fun one. It started clanking like crazy. I yanked it off, ground what was left with a rasp file, and made a new one with a rubber glove and packing tape to get us back up and rolling. It’ll hold until I get some new links shipped to the house in a few weeks.

 

I love that color. Beautiful car only ever seen a few . I have a black XJR and a Carnival Red. XJR . Would love to find one in Your color , as well as BRG.

Thanks. yes it went dirt cheap so couldn't pas up. Doing a complete chain and tensioner service asap. debating on doing heads too just for good measure.

actually I bought both xjr s from ebay.

 

Fresh back from a 14 hour 800 mile round trip trek through snowy mountainous West Va. for a snowboard excursion, the ole girl performed flawlessly. Back home for a well deserved spa-day lol wash.

 

 

 

Will shine more once I do a paint correction. Wheels need refinish and pdr. At least that's what she needs cosmetically. This car moves, I love it.

In Eastern NC we experience all 4 seasons in a matter of days. Last week we had green winter from pollen infused snow, the next day was 70° FH. Today we're back to early spring w/ mid 50's lol. Perfect for a spa day w/ the ole girl.
