Are you guys annoyed of my car yet
Friday, thank the Lord.
That is a NICE car! How long have you had it? Was it that nice when you got it? Did you do restoration work? Have I asked enough questions?? I like the black trim of the 100's. Normally I don't care for the blacked out look, but this is very tasteful. Is it possible to paint the chrome in situ? Not that I probably will paint mine, but I'm thinking about it after seeing yours!

No, not going to get tired of that...you have some good background shots. You know that waitress that every time she walks by, every guy looks at....yeah that.
You ought to ride over to Bone Daddy's and ask a couple of the TexMex honey's to pose with her. I love Bone Daddy's, good food and eye candy.

Are you over by Las Colinas?
No not in Las Colinas. I took those pics by love field airport.

@Z07Brandon Love the gold hardware in the wheels. Fantastic car, I'll never get tired of looking at it
Cheers!

Thanks. A little over 2 years. Some "restoration" not much. Yes I've seen many people paint the trims in black.
I pulled it out of storage this week. Looks pretty good after a bath. Now for a full clean up and repairing the clear coat flaking off the leading edge of the hood, grrrr. After a wash.

Gorgeous car! Perfect color combo and what I wouldnt do for a set of those wheels Very nice!
I love the car, I will keep it until I can't drive any more. Its a 2003 that I bought from Jaguar after it came off its first 2 year lease, with 42,000 kms. It only has 90,000 kms now. Being an R1 with every option, it is a bit rare. Only issue is with the paint. The leading edge of the hood has the clear coat flaking and all through the hood, trunk and roof panel, it has tiny cracks, about an inch long, all over. I think the clear coat is failing.
I am going to take the car to an acquaintance who has an excellent body shop to see if I can get the hood, roof and trunk lid repainted.

If it's just the clear, they may be able to knock it down a bit and re-shoot it? They'll have to see how deep the cracks are, but if they are just spider cracks, then its more than possible.
I hope that's the case, but on the trunk lid and the roof, I have had to repair 2 areas of complete paint and clear loss about the size of a silver dollar. It lifted up right down to the first coat of paint. It required a lot of paint and clear to fill in the hole.
It is BRG and all the touch up paints i have purchased are darker. I may end up having to paint all the upper half of the car and blend at the edges of the fenders. The paint on the sides is darker than the horizontal panels. Sun bleached i guess.
So I spent about 8 hours this weekend giving it the whole wash, wet sand, power DA polish, scratch fill polish and carnauba wax system from Mothers. Made a huge impact and unless you get really close, it looks great. Really pleased with the improvement. Also gave the engine a bath. I'm totally in love again Great reflection.
