Yes, if you remove the side leaper badges, there’s a wire harness behind there that you can connect to a lamp assembly. The X300’s 95’-97’ had amber lamp assemblies there if I’m not mistaken. However, in the trunk lid of your X308, you have clear lenses there that could just snap in place on the front fender.

Hmmmm...I am wondering if you couldn't drill out the jaguar figure in the badge and
install an amber light behind it, I think it would look cool!.

It doesn't look bad at all, did they redo all the paint or just the clear coat?

I took mine into a highly recommended paint shop to discuss the clearcoat issues i am having. Only solution is a complete respray for mine. Even with a full sanding, there is supposed to be a chemical as well as physical bond between color coat and clearcoat. Until I am emotionally prepared for a complete bare metal respray, he likes what I am doing with building up the clearcoat and wetsanding to smooth.

Interesting point was that the leading edge of the hood was clearcoat, the cracks are clearcoat, but the bigger flakes on the roof and trunk lid were failures between the initial coat of color and the second coat of color due to the depth.

Even though on other cars I have had great results, on the Duchess my
success has been limited. Ther is some step I seem to be missing when
doing the paint. Maybe Quartz is an oddball color.

Wow for $20 that's a bargain!!

Did they completely recover it, or repaint the existing leather?
