Randy, if you ever worked on one of those STR’s, you’d know exactly how I feel. Should have a “Danger! Keep out!” sign on the hood insulation.

 

Closing in on a year of dailying my XJR and I still find myself turning around and checking her out when I park. Today, the sun hit it just right and she demanded to be photographed.

Absolutely gorgeous

 

This is my 2002, 3.2 XJ8 sport on her first outing earlier this year. She's in good condition following the usual (for the UK) rust repairs to the front wings and paint correction.
She's partnered in the garage with my '96 x100 in Carnival Red but I only tend to keep one of them licensed for use on the road at any time. Currently, it's the XK8's turn, but after servicing the limo today and fitting a new set of plugs, I think that a swap may be in order next month.
The image was taken in January close to the highest point on the UK motorway network, Windy Hill on the M62.

Out for a little drive the other day in the black Jag. This is at a C Store near Lake McConaughy in western Nebraska where I live. I came out of the store with my pop and was stunned - for the millionth time - at how great these cars look! Had to get a quick picture.

 

They are incredibly gorgeous cars.

 

Kind of like falling in love again...
