Having recently completed the install of the R1 brakes all around, they sit well behind the Montreal’s on my 03’ SV8.

To my mind the most stunning looking XJ made. I love the R’s grill especially.

I bought a set of Revolvers for my snow tires. Nicer ride on the 17" wheels, a bit more rubber cushion.

interesting that you would attribute the change in ride quality to the 1” difference in diameter and not to the snow tires.

are you also running the same tire pressure? i ask because my series 3 vdp on 15” pepperpots with pirelli p 4000’s at 32 psi all around is not a softer ride than the xjr on 18” pentas with michelin x-ice 3’s at 30 psi all around even after noting the xjr also has better sound insulation
