Hey All,
Just wondering if the bulb is easy enough to change or does the whole dash need to come apart??
Clock went dark in my 99 XJR, and was hoping to just pop out the panel and change a bulb, but ... thought to ask here before I started pulling at my dash panels.
Thanks for any help.

I just changed the bulb in my 98 XJ8 a week ago. Pretty easy job; I ordered the LED online at Jagbits. To install I did have to remove all 3 wood panels (popped 'em off with a flat head screwdriver). The clock/vents panel has 4 Philips screws. You should be able to remove/install the light with a flat head or needle nose pliers. Pretty straight forward job.
