Lock button doesn't work

I have a 2004 Jaguar XJ8. With the Key Fob, all of the buttons work except for the lock button. I can only lock the car with the physical key. Anyone have the same problem or a solution to the problem?

Open the FOB & clean the contact pads w/ rubbing alcohol.
