Locking Lug Nuts

Locking Lug Nuts
For anyone worrying about losing their wheels in big cities, I found a set of locking lug nuts that fit xj threads: Mcguard 21102. You can find them at Autozone (You'll have to order, but they're much cheaper) or you can buy them off the Mcguard website. They come with a lifetime warranty that also covers the chrome finish and rust. The shank almost exactly matches the dimensions of the stock lug nuts. I know they're not infallible and someone can still put an extractor socket over them, but it's still better than nothing. They're not super pretty, but you probably won't notice if you're 5 feet away. Links below:

https://shop.mcgard.com/products/aut...hers-and-1-key ($41.02)
These have been working well for me thus far, haven't found the Jag on bricks yet

Yes, I remember several of the students discovering their car up on blocks with the wheels
and tires gone in broad daylight. Hubcaps also had a way of disappearing, so I understand
perfectly the need for preventive measures although I also remember some higher end
wheels having their tires slashed because the thief could not get the wheel off due to those
measures.
