Looking for Spot to Mount Toggle Switches

Looking for Spot to Mount Toggle Switches
What spots have enough clearance space behind the front surface to accomodate some small toggle switches?
The switch body is 1/2" deep by 1/2" high and 1/2'" wide.
The places under consideration are:
- main instument panel veneer at top right above trip computer switches
- j-gate veneer at top right above j-gate finisher
- center dash vent veneer at lower left (but seems like this requires adjacent veneers to be removed first)
The fallback position is the lip under the console lid where others have been mounting antenna power override swiches.
And ... any relevant advice about modifying wiring at the BPM harness/connector would be welcome

The slope was one of the locations. Pretty tight for two switches to one side though. One side or the other is where a little custard dish sits as a make-do ashtray.
Now that the whole works is open, it seems that the bit just behind the cruise and sport buttons would be easier because it requires less surgery on the under support.
Now ... is there room for the micro-toggles to sit in the black gate that directly surrounds the shift lever? The area of interest is at the top between the "P" position and the shifter interlock over ride port. Is there a LED that sits in the way in the centre? (sorry to ask, but battery is disconnected and cannot be reconnected while the BCM harness is disconnected). JTIS definitely shows the disc from the shift indicator, but I am hoping that there might be just a bit of room left over.
Harness building starts tomorrow ...

Already have to fix both bottom corners of the glove box from following JTIS instead of doing it the normal way ... actually looking to find all screws like the last time.
And that's in addition to the 4 or so plastic retaining pins that were just flopping around under the j-gate finisher.
Most model car kits use better plastic than Jaguar.
