I found this Jaguar website that has a nice catalog with information on XJ models Vin range starting numbers by year.

It has info on car componets groups (Timing, Engine Gaskets, Automatic Transmission,Cooling, etc) broken down by each componet name shows Jaguar Part numbers and descriptions.

I downloaded the catalog:

I also went to look at their specials - brought me to their Ebay site. I found these Seico Classic Jaguar Dress Wrist Watches there.
