Default Low coolant message

I just changed the thermostat and flushed the cooling system and I get a low coolant message? No visible leaks or odors, coolant reservoir is full.

Any ideas before I change the sensor? Temp gauge just over half.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you jostled the sensor

The float (sensor) in the coolant expansion tank is stuck.
Use a large plastic spoon or something similiar to stir the coolant in the tank (located in the near the rear part of the engine compartment - driver's side).

I had the same thing happen to me after our indy mechanic replaced our coolant. It seems to be a common occurance.

Thanks, I'll grab my wife's favorite wooden spoon and get to work (as soon as it warms up a bit).
