Default lower springs , late to the game.

I have got my X308 a new set of shock by Simply Performance UK and this opens up an opportunity for the springs replacement also( they are original to the car all the way back to 2000)

I know I know many say the lower springs are not worthy or even trashy but I just found out most of the poplar vendors dont offer anymore- Mina Gallery, Powerhouse UK, Paramount UK....

any one has other lead of info?

https://www.powerhouse.uk/content/ja...ng-springs.php

The web page says they still do the XJ, but possibly only post 2003.

Randy, I spoke with Powerhouse UK -David Langfield directly ( actually just a few hours ago, I have near all of their products on my X308 so I have been having direct contact with them for years) as well as all the vendors I checked ( not just on their websites, I spoke to a real person from each of them)

no more...sad....

powerhouse UK has some left for X300 only

ok, Powerhouse UK suggested me to contact some springs manufactory for the lower springs. I am sure all vendors don't make their own springs but I think PHUK just also implied they ordered them also but didn't give me more specific details.

they look like H&R springs to me ...what do you guys think ..

https://coilsprings.com/classic.aspx

My wife and I came across this website because we want to restore the ride quality and height of her 1990 300ZX 2+2 N/A. They emailed us back and said they don’t have the exact specs of our springs but, they did say if we sent one each of the front and rear spring that they could make us a set for roughly $600. I don’t think that’s unreasonable for all 4. Of course the question is.... how do you make new springs if there’s no specs with 33 year old 202k mile springs? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Vincent, you could always specify what height as they can make any custom spring you want.
