Default lug nut thread count and size

Seems i lost my lug nuts for my snow tires. Need to get more. Anybody know what the stud size is on the XJ8/XJR off the top of their head. Better yet anyone know where I put the lugs this past spring?

The lug nuts are sized 1/2"-20. f you check with jagbits part search you will find the nuts are the same for the XJ8, XK8. and the older XJ6.

All the Jaguar 5 on 4 3/4" wheel hubs use the 1/2" X 20 TPI nuts.

The later cars (S-Type, X-Type X350 etc.) use a metric thread.

I just replaced all my lugs for my Vanden Plas from XK's Unlimited for $7.75 ea for the JA-CCC7029...I have the Penta rims w/2" lug. I don't know which lug you have but check XK's out, they had the cheapest for mine, ..an Ebay seller wanted $30 a piece for them. I had to replace a few of them because a worker who R&B'd my wheels used an impact to put them back on (it seated them) and I had to use an impact socket and a 4lb maul to get some of those off. That destroyed the cap and thus why I replaced them and did them all.
