Default M122 conversion length question

Picked up a m122 blower for nearly free and talked to stiegmeier's people. They can make it adapt to the Jaguar, but its going to be 5/8" in longer than the current m112. Will that pose any issues? I'm more than curious to see what can be made from this. They cost is only going to run me $500-600 total so I just wanted to try it for curiosity.

How would you be mating it up?

The Jag M112 draws at the rear and exhausts out the top into the two external intercooler boxes, and all the M122s I've ever seen have the more conventional layout of drawing at the back and expelling down into an intercooler brick situated in the valley. Are you planning to just run it upside down with a custom hat to mate it to the jag intercoolers? Will they run upside down without lubrication issues? Will having all the belt tension pulling in the opposite of the "normal" direction kill the bearings? Or would you be making a custom manifold to mount it the "conventional" way (i.e. expelling downward)? I assume you're thinking the first option based on your cost estimate. There are a lot of potential issues there, but if you could make it work, it sounds pretty neat.

And where'd you get a cheap M122? They're usually pretty expensive, as the 03-04 Cobra guys like them for a budget upgrade for their M112.

I got one for $200 and only bought it cause it was cheap and i know i could sell it for at least twice that. Steigmeir takes the rotor pack and swaps them out and reuses the m112 snout and fits it with an adapter plate. For another $500, it might be worth a try, just curious about the extra 5/8 in. thats needed.
