magic mender Oatmeal AGD leather colour
Has anyone tried using the oatmeal 4367 colour from magic mender (leather repair kit) to repair an x308 xj8 oatmeal leather seat?
I look at their "4367 oatmeal" premixed colour sample and it looks decidedly darker on my monitor than my oatmeal AGD seats.
Does Anyone have any advice from experience on this, is the colour match good.
regards
Peter

Same here, no experience with them.
I used SCUFF for the Ivory and sable parts.

Spot on for colors, the sable just needed a bit of gloss.
Each large dye bottle is accompanied by 3 smaller bottles to correct lighter, darker and gloss.
Very confident seller too.

I ordered "oatmeal" from Leather Magic the other day, I will report after I do the dye work. Can't remember why I chose this company, my hope is that the color will match. Some time back my rear view mirror leaked the fluid on my console and passenger seat, don't need to re-dye a lot of areas, just spots. My thinking is to use a very tiny brush and blot the dye on the spots to cover, if that does not work well, I can always do a larger area and blend it in, maybe go seam to seam. I will update the thread as to the color match, that maybe helpful to someone else.

is that product "magic mender" or another "magic leather" that you ordered?
Im hoping you can post some before and after pics when you apply it.
The magic mender kit is a bit pricey at $60 compared to other kits, hopefully its worth it.

The company is "Leather Magic" cost for full kit and shipping was $67.00. Should get it this week.

I have not re-dyed my seats and console yet. The kit contains everything including cleaner, prep, dye, and a sprayer. It appears the color is spot on too. (Gloves, sandpaper, sponge as well) They suggest a very thorough cleaning and drying prior to the dye.

Update. Just did a small area, dye seems to dry a bit darker. It might still dry to match, if not, then I can feather it in to match. My leather looks new, so if my seats were a little more used I suppose the match would be perfect. I could just stop cleaning my car for awhile. LOL
I feathered it out as well, but doubt it was really necessary.
