Default Mesurement response time motorized aspirator

I read my in-car temperature sensor with IDS today to see how fast the temperature adjusts when I go from 25 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius in A/C AUTO mode for example.

After more than 5 minutes of driving, the sensor lowered its value from 26 degrees to 22. This seems too slow to me. Does anyone here have experience how fast the sensor normally reacts?

I have cleaned the sensor with compressed air. But I do not notice any difference.

Thanks Ben

are you questioning if the A/C is cooling fast enough? The A/C seems to be very effective if it is dropping the cabin temperature from 80* to 69* F in five minutes. Lots of stuff in play: outside temp, how much sun, color of the car . . . Sensor seems fine: it is working!

The A/C responds rapidly. As soon as I set 67 Fahrenheit (19 °C) it immediately gets cold, at 83 Fahrenheit (28 °C) it also immediately gets hot.

However, I have the feeling I have to set the temperature in AUTO A/C mode much warmer to not get cold air, for example, when changing from 83 Fahrenheit (28 °C) to 67 Fahrenheit (19 °C) comes determined 10 minutes only cold air. The interior sensor also reacts very slowly according to IDS. Therefore, it is not surprising that so long cold air comes. My question is therefore how fast does the interior sensor normally react.

I feel an airflow and the sensor also looks clean.

For a few seconds, when switching to a/c, heat comes on to dry the ducts: sounds like everything is working correctly

Sensor is measuring cabin mixed air temp. Air temp that is warmed or cooled by air flow. Thats why it is slow to react. You can test the reaction time by blowing air to the sensor by lets say hair dryer and then outside air. It is possible that sensor is not read at very fast pace as it is not needed. I have feel that this ac system is a bit sluggish to switch from heating to cooling especially when not using ac but still AUTO. I do have clean sensor.
