Default Model variation - power output

I'm confused looking at parts catalogues... for my 3.2 x308 there appears to be two models, one with 174 KW / 237 PS and another with 179 KW / 243 PS. I'm assuming there's a pre-post facelift or something, but I wonder whether anyone can explain how I might find out which I have?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, your post is exactly why we ask you to put your location, MY (model year) and Type in your User CP for us to see. First, so as...if this thread progresses, folks don't have to keep going back to the beginning for your MY and type. Second, location is important, NA and Euro, Aus models had different options (the 3.2 in yours vs my 4.0), plus Euro models can have propane conversions, we don't in NA. Plus, you never know if a member is close to you to assist or regionally knows where you can get answers or parts.

Much appreciated...

To somewhat answer your question, you can use Wikipedia and look up Jaguar X308 models.

Hi, it will be most likely the reference of the earlier AJ26 engine and the revision to AJ27 part way through production, I guess you could call it a face lift. When you post a question it's good to know what model and Year of manufacture because as you've found out there's some differences.
