Just a short note when checking the battery voltage. Put the positive lead on the battery post with a good hard push, then check voltage at three spots with the negative lead. 1) negative battery post, 2) negative lead at the post so you read through the connection for a high resistance corroded battery post, 3) a good body ground. That will help rule out the battery charge and connections. You can also do the positive post the same way, with #3 test at the bus bar.

Go to the electrical troubleshooting link in my signature, it has a slide on the inertia switch. Basically it's in the passenger footwell, in the very right front corner. There's a big black rubber button on the top.
