Mutliple issues but lets start with the rough idle
New owner 2001 XJ8, 77k, sat for bit (couple of years) before I got it. Started with fresh gas and new battery. It has always had a very rough idle and car shudders at higher speeds 50mph - 65mph.
Car has ABS & NO TRAC CONTROL warning messages and ABS warning light is on too, I cleaned all the wheel sensors but still have the warnings. For now however I'm just trying to get it running right. See codes and work I've done so far.
First set of codes:
P1647, P0305, P0306, P0307 and Pending P1316
Replaced Left Bank upstream O2, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, cleared codes
Second set of codes
P1316, P0301, P0304, P0302, P1313
Replaced right bank O2 sensor, cleared codes
Fuel pump died
Replaced fuel pump, cleaned injectors
Cleared codes and drove
P0304, P1316, P0327 (I know I eventually need to place knock sensor)
Moved coils, cleared codes
P0304, P1316
Tempted to move coil on 4 one more time, clear, drive and recheck once more for good measure. Can someone confirm on this year and model that #4 is right bank closest to firewall? Also my guess is tensioners are probably the originals. It that the logical next stop if one more coil move doesn't identify my issue? And while I have it opened up for tensioners, should chains be on the ToDo list as well?
Thanks in advance... I need the help.

I think it would be wise to remove the covers and check the tensioners and cam timing BEFORE doing any more ignition diagnosis. If one of the exhaust cams has skipped a tooth you will have a rough idle and possibly even the misfire codes. Just do not start the car until you know the cams and tensioners are okay. If you skip two teeth valves will be hitting pistons.

Has it got a smoother idle after the work you carried out? is it down to one coil or is it behaving the same way as the initial run?
If it's improved, then you're onto it, if it hasn't then as the replies state timing is the one to check now.
You're reawakening it then electronically it'll be like a bear with a sore head, verdigris and dodgy earths are a sod. Clean every earth connection and electrical post under the bonnet to free your mind to the work in hand.
I'd agree the ABS warnings are something to get back to, if sensors report good, rings clear of crud (stored, dry grass, mud etc) and a rock solid battery - once up and running they may disappear, (sensors all report after a certain speed 5mph) if not then the next likely thing is the ABS pump controller board solder points. This needs Jaguar's own scanner to pull the drivetrain codes (c1095 is specific to it) or just remove it, cut it open and check, resolder.
