I didn't think the flex pipe was anything special. LOL Spend all day working under cars and 90% have them, didn't think anything of it. As for the exhaust hanger there is a bracket with rubber sandwiched between it that bolts to the transmission mount and then to the exhaust. The rubber on mine was gone and I saw no harm in making it rigid so I just welded the plates together. Kinda feel bad that I didn't paint it because I figured nobody would ever see it again. LOL

A little derailment. Here is a little something I have been working on for a little while. Decided I wanted to see the thing run and needed to stop procrastinating on it. LOL

Its a 1998 but with a 96 LSC nose on it. Trying my hand at fiberglass and want to make a cowl hood that looks as if it was a Ford piece.
If it dont work out I will have to put another second gen nose back on it to clear the Cobra plenum. There are plans for forced induction down the road.

Man sounds like fun! Youll have to post some pics of the hood when it goes down! I saw a sweet front bumper for gen ii the other day on tccoa! It was like the lincoln bumper had a baby with a 03+ cobra bumper. I have never seen those before! It was probably custom.

btw, That xjr is sweet. It looks so good there taking gas If you wanna trade for a vanden plas with blown HGs, let me know

Thats Johns bumper from Temple Performance. I was on the list for the very first production bumper but I sold that Mark and a friend on LVC took my place.
This Mark is supposed to represent my shop and really belongs to my partner but I just get to spend all my money and time on it. LOL
It recieved the front end conversion when his wife smacked a poll because the car stalled due to a blown head gasket. Just cracked the bumper and fenders and lights. Second gen lights are a crap ton of money and we had all this 96 LSC stuff sitting around with the very rare HID headlight housings so we slapped it on the car.

This is how it looked:

And the dammage:

And this is after the conversion but before the LSC bumper went on (had to fix some rips) and before we repainted the nose black:

Also here is the Temple Bumper on Johns car but recolored to the Mark I was buying it for:

And just for grins this was my previous Mark VIII project. Man I miss that car.

Very clean marks Glad to also hear about the improvement you got from redoing the foam surround on the subwoofer.

Sorry for the delay. With the high heat I have been swamped in Cadillacs and other GM cars overheating at my shop so I didnt even have a lift open till this afternoon.

So here is the brace that I burned the rubber out of and welded solid and also the flex section of the exhaust.
