Are you asking for information on the glovebox door or the lower panel that goes from the bottom of the dash fascia (top) down and around the glovebox door?

I looked at the area below the glovebox in our 2001 XJ8 and I did see all the wiring harnesses there, but there is no facia panel there.
What is there is the lower heating/air conditioning outlet (a black plastic part) that blows air on the passenger feet.
Unless our vehicle is also missing a panel (which is doubtful), I would conclude that there was never a panel below the glovebox on these XJ X308 model years.
