I need to replace my front drivers side (LHD) wheel well liner. Anyone know what the part number for this is? and a cheap place to get one?

Thanks

I would see if a local junk yard might have a Jag that you can grab it from. If not, there is a yard in Stockton Ca (look in the stickies for resources) that has lots

I'll try that, I've called around to a bunch today in my area with no luck. I had to cut part of the front off of it today to get it to stop rubbing against my brand new tires.

Jsnyder has one I could probably get, but I feel like it'd be really awkward to ship. Haha

Hi Bcrary3,

For these kinds of questions it's great to have the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), which you can download free from this forum. Or, two online sources for Jaguar part numbers are jaguarmerriamparts.com and gaudinjaguarparts.com, the Jag dealers in Merriam, KS and Las Vegas, NV respectively, who sell Jag parts online at discount prices.

A quick search at Jaguar Merriam for a 2000 XJ8 turns up a part number for the left hand wheel arch liner of HND4573AF with a "discount" price of $203.18:

2000 Jaguar XJ8 Parts - Jaguar Parts Center - Call (800) 510-1401 for Genuine Jaguar Parts and Accessories

Jim's suggestion of finding a salvaged liner looks like the best idea if you can find one, but if Jsnyder has one, it may not be as difficult to ship as you might think. The liners I have purchased for other vehicles have been flexible enough to roll up so they would fit into a reasonably-sized shipping carton, and of course, they hardly weigh anything.

Cheers,

Don

The jaguar replacement parts also comes rolled up, although it MIGHT be a little more difficult to roll up a used part due to it having become brittle.
