In need of some wiring hand holding for nwe ProM 92mm MAF

#22
I have ordered a new additional original MAF IAT sensor and am leaving the stock MAF alone so I can easily and quickly replace my stock intake system quickly and without issue whenever I need to smog my car.
I was thinking if I use and original sensor designed for the MAF location, it will work. Since it was only $75, I thought it would be best to not need to remove the #2 IAT sensor to test it, so I tested it in place.
I am pretty busy with work, so I can only work on my car a few minutes here and there and don't want to risk messing it up because I am driving it daily right now.
I expect to be able to successfully install the new 92mm MAF when the new sensor arrives. I already have the new plug wired onto the old one and a forum member sent me the stock connector ( thank you ) so I'll just put this IAT sensor next to the air filter and I'm off and running
Then I'll go get a dyno and try to get it out to the 1/4 mile track to see what improvements I've made with my limited mods. I did a stock 13.8, so I am hoping to have improved at least to 13.3 or better, but we will see...

Time is worth something; you either pay for it in green dollars or time wasted.
Others may have a different opinion; mine comes from being an on-site consultant.

My touch point is that I charge (on paper) the same as a garage does (mine charges $85 an hour for the kitty...) per hour to hack something. When the time to expend crosses the cost of the OEM part...I just buy the OEM part and be done with it.
