New Cat Converter?

Comcrades,
Any experience at obtaining a new catalytic converter for our cars? Does Jag still stock them?
Are there acceptable replacements?
Who and Where?
Mine is in pieces inside which I discovered when a chunk of honeycomb was found in one of the rear pipes, before the resonators.
Ours are so called "bolt in" cats which makes the job slightly more difficult after 23 years than splicing in one for a say, Toyota or Honda.
Thanks,
Len

Jaguar Palm Beach sells for $3898. https://parts.jaguarpalmbeach.com/p/...NNF6701AD.html
Surprised to see new (not from Jaguar) on eBay for $382. https://www.ebay.com/itm/19512057547...xoCIacQAvD_BwE
Illegal to sell used, so you can't go to a salvage yard. Remember left and right are different.

If you can find a used car with damage, you can take them from a wrecked car before it goes to a salvage yard. (it is illegal for a salvage yard to sell them)
Nameless Products has 200 cell replacements. I have them on one of my XKRs. They work fine.

When I remove a gearbox on any X100 or X308 I usually 'snap' one of the 8 studs on the cataverter at the manifold.
Even with a spray of penetrating oil and working back-and-forth they still seem to snap every once in a while.
Clamped in a vise, I end up heating the flange 'cherry-red' and remove the broken stud. (they break-off at the unthreaded 'bulge' between the threaded portions)
The stud protrudes enough to get a grip to unscrew/remove the broken bit.
I keep new replacement studs in stock because of this.

I know you asked for Bob’s advice but, I just wanted to share my experience.
I’ve had the greatest success by removing the expansion tank, cat heat shield on the D/S and saturate all 8 of the cat/manifold fasteners with P’Blaster the night *before* you do the job. I also use a 1/2” drive, 13mm mid deep wobble impact (not chrome!) socket with a long extension and breaker bar to break them free by hand. I finish taking them out with a 3/8” drive extension and 3/8” ratchet. I would just about snap all the studs off with an impact but removing the fasteners by hand and when everything is ambient greatly reduced the amount of work I had to do repairing the studs and cats. I know you’re replacing one or both of them anyways so it may not be a big problem for you if you do break any.
