Default New fuel filter installed and now P0455 code

Just got a new fuel filter installed yesterday and today I get check engine light with a P0455 code. Did they cause a leak when they installed the filter and now I should be worried or is this something that just popped up cause of the filter change and I can clear the code and be fine?

I had that on my previous X308 directly after the fuel filter change, I was told it was due to the temporary breach when the work was being done. A hard reset was performed, never to see that code again.

Godspeed

What is a hard reset and how is it performed?

disconnect the battery ground cable FROM THE BATTERY, and touch it to the live terminal for a few seconds
It clears all stray commands that maybe circulating in the ECU.

If those instructions are a bit too vague just search this forum for "hard reset" it's a well covered & highly coveted trick around these parts lol.

If that doesn't work & it comes back, return to whomever serviced it & have them check their work.

Also, clear the code with an OBD II reader. That should clear the OBD II and the check engine light. Then at the battery, in the trunk, disconnect the negative cable and touch it to the positive post ( as noted above, this drains all capacitors and resets the ECU to its baseline; the car will run rough for a minute as it relearns, but it will stabilize).

If that does not work, some of the evap piping is close by.

The prime candidate is a quick coupling near the center that
can get knocked off. That will cause a P0455.
