New JTIS21 CD download with download instructions

Hi Chris
The Engine Cooling System information - Use XJ Range as Model and 1998 as Model Year, then click text navigator icon on bottom menu ( to open the list of procedures)
then click on 3: Powertrain,
then click on 303A: Engine Cooling,
then click on Description and Operation,
then click on Engine Cooling -- it brings up the Engine Cooling Components Diagram and components listing for NA and Supercharged Vehicles, also describes functions in more details.
If you cannot find a procedure in your model year (2001) then you need to look first at 1999 model year selection, if also not there, then look at 1998 model year selection.
A lot of times the procedure is not in the model year selection that you would normally find it, JTIS sometimes does not repeat the same procedures unless the procedure changes in a particular model year.
I copied the following information from the PDF on installing DAO350.dll (page 14):
Here are some tips on how to find vehicle repairs information:
Engine Cooling information is in the Engine Cooling section 303-03A for the Range Model XJ. It is only in the Model Year 1998 (and
not in 1999-2003 Model Year Selections).
Looks like the JTIS does not repeat a section unless something changes in that section.
Also in Range Model XJ Years 2000-2003 in Engine section 303-01 In Vehicle Repair subsection, there is only 1 repair listed - oil pressure switch.
In the XJ model section for the 1998 year, the In Vehicle Repair subsection (Engine Section 303-01)
has a long list of repairs listed alpabetically from Connecting Rod Bearing through Variable Camshaft Bearings Oil Control Unit Housing.
The XJ model section for the 1999 year, the In Vehicle Repair subsection (Engine Section 303-01) also has a long list of repairs
listed alpabetically from Connecting Rod Bearing through Valve Cover RH. Something must have changed between 1998 and 1999
So Range Model XJ for Range Years 1999-2003 does not have section 303-03A (Engine Cooling). You have to use 1998 model selection for your
listed alpabetically from Connecting Rod Bearing through Valve Cover RH. Something must have changed between 1998 and 1999
You should also download and read this other PDF file - Instructions and illustrations on how to navigate JTIS21 software (set your pdf reader to the 125% zoom level).

My first thought would be use a virtual machine to run an older OS on top of your W10 box. There's a few out there to chose from, Microsoft do their own & I know VMWare workstation is free as two examples. Have a google & the guides are pretty foolproof.
I did similar years ago to use Saab software which needed XP on a W7 laptop & it worked fine.
