171 and 174 are lean bank codes, both sides indicate an unmetered air leak.
Things to check...
MAF connection to induction tube.
Induction tube to throttle body, take the tube off and check for cracks/holes.
Seals both at MAF & throttle body.
Clean the MAF sensor, unscrew the 2 screws and remove. Spray and flood MAF cleaner onto the MAF bulb that's protected by plastic, a q-tip if particularly grubby.
Carry out a 'hard reset' once you've done this and see if the restricted performance goes away.

it is probably fairly miserable trying to drive the car in restricted performance, I had that some years ago (replaced the throttle body and all was cured) and was limited to a maximum of 15 mph.
Driving it in restricted-performance should not do any harm, BUT whatever is causing the restricted performance could increase damage by driving it - depends what is the cause of the issue. If it were me, I'd just keep driving it until convenient to fix.

I've been chasing the same pair of codes, it's been discussed in this thread here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-codes-180753/
Hopefully you'll get it sorted and it won't cause you too many problems.
