New Year , New Noise ?!

KC,
That is definitely a significant noise, and by that I don't mean it is significantly loud, but that it indicates something is significantly loose!
I would think that a good visual/hands-on inspection on a vehicle lift should reveal what it is................although I really can't think what it can be considering all the recent shock and bushing work that has been done.
Maybe the first step would be to jack the car up and remove the driver-side rear wheel and do an initial visual inspection.........possible broken weld on the bottom of the shock????

Sounds like one of the rear exhaust hanger donuts is broken or missing allowing the exhaust system to bang around. But . . . really hard to tell: need to determine exactly where it is coming from: right, left? How far back? But does not (from this recording, at least) sound like suspension . . .

Did you get any closer to solving this issue?
It sounds like 2 different noises.
The most obvious noise sure sounds just like a front upper shock mount that’s gone bad even though you state it’s from the rear. I’d still check the rear upper shock mounts for wear even though it was done 8K miles ago.
The other one could either be the heat shield over the center mufflers breaking off and tapping the side of the muffler or a baffle inside one of the mufflers. I would make a fist and beat the underside of the rear mufflers to diagnose that noise. A rubber mallet can also be used but you really need it on a lift in my opinion.
