It would probably be easier to just buy an XJR than mess around with that stuff. These aren't rice racers, they are fast already.

Yes, I am going to end up with a XJR in addition to my XJ8. Just was curious about the juice.
Reliability is more important to me and that is mutually exclusive to NOS. I like my XJ8 too much to let it go. And I only paid 10K for it in January with only 37K on it. So she will end up as my daily driver powder puff, and I'll end up buying an additional XJR and look into the twin screw for that one. That one can breath a little fire ~

When you put in NOS, you just plain old beating up on the engine. It like putting steroids in the gas. An you know what steroids do in the long run.

Get a XJR that pushing 370hp FACTORY, pop in a lower ratio pulley and you jump up close to 400hp. At 400hp, you seeing most of these, so call fast cars in your rear view mirror.

NOS stands for NOoooo!!, Sh*t!!, I think I just blew my engine.

Wouldn't the ECU adjust timing based on lambda readings?

I'm contemplating adding nitrous to my XJR.
