I have no heat. Repalced heater control valve & auxillary water pump. Checked core and its good. Any other ideas?

You probably already did this if you changed the hcv, but if your fluid level is low it would blow cold whenever the idle's drop (eg. standing still)

You sure the HCV is actually getting activated and opening?

Perhaps check the plastic housings that channel the heat around??

Did you fix this problem yet? If not may I ask if your front foglights are working? I know that sounds stupid, but fuse #3 in the EMC fusebox under the bonnet controls these lights and I believe it also controls the auxillary heater pump. I am currently suffering the same problem, but in my case the fuse keeps blowing. I intend to disconnect the lights to see if one of them is shorting out, and will then be able to see if pump is working too. If your fuse is blown, perhaps you could let me know if changing it cures the heater problem too.
