No Heat - DexCool issue???? Honda Type 2 Coolant
It seems like we have a problem with no heat (clogged heating system) issues almost every year for the last 3 years - 2001 Jaguar XJ8.
We use the recommended DexCool and our mechanic always has flush with water to unclog it (takes a long time and a number of flushes).
We also have a 1990 Acura Legend that never has had a heating system issue and we use its recommended Honda Coolant Type 2.
Does anyone know if the Honda Coolant can be used in our 2001 Jaguar XJ8 without causing any damage to the engine or heating system?
Here is the information I have gathered on the Honda and the DexCool fluids:

I had to flush / back flush the heater core of my 2001 every winter since I bought it in order to get heat through the winter. I recently (i.e. during summer) fixed a leak from a bypass valve which had me partially purge the coolant system. Once filled up, I ultimately had to get the heat on to ensure coolant flowing through the system and already realized that I have no heat again... Hence I know already what's waiting for me before Xmas !
