Has anyone had this problem? My radio was working fine. shut the car off and went to a store. Came back and radio wouldn't turn on. I have no power going to that section of the center console. The buttons are not even illuminated. I pulled every fuse in the car, they all look good.

Please help if you can. I need my music.

Can you clarify exactly what .works and what doesn't? My 98 wiring diagram points to two fuses. Number 9 on the left heel board and 12 on the RH heel board. These are for the radio only.

 

Hi atv007, Nothing works with the radio, cd ,tape section of the center console. No lights on the buttons either. The climate control section works fine. I pulled all fuses and they looked fine.

 

Hmmm. That being the case, either the radio is dead or the plug fell out the back. I also wonder if the Jag radio has a separate fuse on the back. I seem to recall it does.

Also, check your owners manual, it's possible Jaguar may have changed the fuses between 98 and 2000.

Check around the forum, it's not that hard to pull the radio out, and someone must done a thread on how to do it.

Here are the fuses/relays I found that relate to the Audio


Left Hand Heelboard:
9, 17


Trunk:
3, 4, 12, 22 & 9 is the Antennae. I had trouble with the Antennae causing my radio to not work once.

Relay #7
