Hello all, I aquired my first jaguar today! It's a 1995 XJR 6 cylinder supercharged bought as a non runner. Had a quick look round it earlier and have found that I have no feed to any of the coil packs when cranking. Has anybody experienced this before or help in any way? Thanks very much

Hi Leo,

Your '95 XJR is a factory code X300, so you might want to re-post your question in the X300 forum. In the meantime, all six coils receive a constant 12V from the coil power relay in the front right engine bay area. Off the top of my head I believe it is a black relay in a black base. You might check for 12V at the relay socket and check to ensure the relay is engaging to feed 12V on to the coils. You can try swapping another, less important relay to see if that resolves the issue.

Cheers,

Don
