Question Not starting - 2001 XJR 4dr

Hi everyone
Looking for a little feedback -
Wife out with the 2001 Jaguar XJR 4dr Supercharged V8, Left Hand Drive. 152K miles.
Stopped at the grocery store. Came back out within 15 minutes. The Car powered up but would not turn over. (I was not there)
Code reader revealed a P1111 - My manual states- not a critical error
She went back in the store - called me - went out to try again.. car started. I am thinking that the trans did not fully go into park....
Second item the "guide plate under the console of the shifter is loose and turning when you move the shifter into R or D.. Problem?
Thanks ... please share your thoughts

The car will lock out the starter as well as the transmission if it get a false reading -- there is a control under there Best to get tightened up -- you don't want to damage any of it.
