That is a true statement. I've got several little issues going on, and since I'm now fully retired, I decided to start looking into them. All electrical issues, of course: the driver's door won't unlock any locks, but the passenger door and the master lock/unlock on the top panel of buttons will. The fuel gauge is erratic and has been for a long time. And I can't adjust the driver's seat memory. These issues kind of appear on the Autel; however, it says that the fuel gauge has an open circuit, but this comes from the instrument pack scan. I haven't done the full pin point test yet, but I'm starting to think that the problem is in I-pack because the last two times that I've had to do a hard reset the odometer reading has changed. The first time it went down 5k miles and the second time it went up 2k. The other two problems are the modules, which I'll do in the spring. Oh yea, the Autel also tells me from the I-pack that the "SCP (J1850) (+)" has a circuit fault. SCP is the Standard Corporate Protocol network and the J1850 is the circuit to the DLC.

So, yea; the tool tells you what has a problem and now go figure it out.

okay thank you maybe i have a ground issue could that cause this issue? I can recall the first time i plugged my scan tool in to the car i could get live data this was during the very cold time of the year i also suspect some water intrusion to the trunk area around the security and locking module ive got a new antenna gasket since it was only $2 and some E6000 water proofing glue for any suspect spots its clear so as not to disturb any paint work i suspect some other issues are coming from water intrusion ive noticed a fair amount of wetness in the trunk area towards the rear seats on the batteries side which of course is where all the electrical stuff connects to the fuse box and grounds out there for the neg battery cable
