Default Odometer correction adjustment (IDS?)

hi everyone!

i have replaced my defect odometer (cockpit), is there a way to set my old odo km (or miles) value back? the new cockpit has 50000 more km's, i have jaguar ids, but i cant find a tool to adjust it

You need the engineering mode enabled in order to run the odometer correction routine, but i've tried it on a couple of cars and it hasn't worked.

I'm lead to believe that the odometer data is stored on a separate chip in the instrument cluster, and you can simply swap that chip over from your old cluster to the new replacement.

How can you set IDS to an engineering mode? Thanks in advance for your answer! I can't find the mode.

Ehm can you PM a password? Where do i have to fill in the password, i have jlr v130 for my x308, which button or icon do i have to click on?
