Those seats are amazing, I'd love to have them in my car. Same trim as mine too. I'm jealous.

Looks like a very well maintained car, agreed.

But then, if you take care of your car so well, how comes one of the engine bay covers is missing, the rubber on the other side is loose, and the lighter in the front ashtray is missing?
Those were the first things to take care of it it was my car, can't really understand ...

Why doesn't the steering wheel wood match the rest of the car?
Also, are there any all leather xjr steering wheels?

They all came that way. Ifs really annoying that Jaguar would pass it off as acceptable to have that not match the rest of the interior.

You can buy brand new old stock all leather steering wheels intended for X308 in black off a German eBay seller for around €100. I was going to buy one, but my wooden wheel actually matched my wood so I had it re trimmed instead.

It should be a serious reason for me NOT to buy such car.
I can't imagine sitting in it and see this all the time, it should bother me senseless.
I seem to remember there is a company who color matches the steering wheel to this trim, but I forgot details.

The black one looks good though!
Much better than an all-leather light one.

Connelly was still sort of around in 1998 -- the leather was nicer. My 98 leather was not as nice as my 1995 but better vs my 2002's.

The wood trim's finish on the early cars failed. Jaguar had a lamination problem with a new finish type. In some cases it did so uniformly -- in other cases it was spotty. They all did it ...... all the trim matched when it was delivered. Like the water pumps and tensioners -- Jaguar had continuing problems. I'm sure most have some evidence of this.

Most of the white cars were sold originally to women. In my neck of the woods .. they sat in garages all winter as the owners went to FL and they drove to the beach each week in the summer. When the people retired they took them to FL

FYI ....That's all the money for that car. He will take less. look at the XKR -- also all the money. But -- this is the time to get a low mile XKR. The XJS he is selling is the year to get == wants too much. I find it interesting that the MB W126's go for as much as they do .. they were great cars ... I don;t think he will get his price for that .. but the really nice ones do sell above 13k

That is a really nice car but the is a sales invoice of a 98 S-type... I wanna buy it so bad. You wouldn't get much from a kidney. Donate a ******** its $35,000. That would be enough of the jags life time repair!

Nice car but they want a lot for it. Did you scroll down past the listing and see they want $25.5K for another one?
