Default Options for Replacement Timing Cover

OK, I followed directions on one of the step by step directions for replacing the timing chains and tensioners. Attempting to pull the Crank pulley I bent the set of bolts that I had for the puller, and went out and got the 8mmx60 bolts recommended for use. I even doubled up the washers when I set it up. Got down to last turn on the bolt and heard a pop. Got the pulley off with no problem but now I've got a timing cover with two nice little bolt marks and a small crack leading from each. Neither crack is that bad and I've got a buddy with a metal shop that thinks he can fix it (we all know how those go in the end). I've been looking for replacements. Do I need a specific '01 cover or will any in the '98-'03 range work? I'm seeing a variety of covers in that range and they have variances, primary is the addition of a threaded bolt hole on the passenger side, with no freeze plugs. The ones I see specifically marked '01 the plugs are missing and they look like they're set up as hose ports. Mine has the plugs but they have what look to be freeze plugs in them. Any ideas are definitely appreciated

I was under the assumption any will do the job. As far as a threaded bolt hole goes put a bolt in and cut it flush? is it the same as this one? (2002)

Mine looks exactly like your picture. I've come across a few labeled '98 and they are missing the freeze plugs and have a threaded post on the passenger side arm. It's out in the middle of the arm just a little top side of middle. It would have to be an attachment for some kind of pulley as its right in the middle of the serpentine belt path. My idler pulley is in close proximity but it attaches in a different location.

yep, you need an AJ27 one instead of the AJ26.
