hey i just got my first check engine light...it is a bummer as i've had the car two years and this was the first time the CEL came on...the code is a P0105, mainfold absolute pressure...any ideas where to check first...i did just have my octopus hose replaced so i am guessing they must have jossled something down there when replacing that hose...from what i can see from the electrical guide documentation, the sensor is located in the ECU compartment, but i couldn't find anything there...is it in the ECU? or is it burried below the ECU compartment...eitherway, anyone have any insight on this type of error...i am going to jump on the JTIS later and see where on the throttle body, manifold area i need to be looking...will post the outcome later...

problem solved...it took forever to find the MAPS as i couldn't find it anywhere and in the 2001 electrical documentation it actually had it located in the ECM compartment...see attached pics for where it is...the problem i had was that the vacuum tube that connects to the bottom of the unit was not reconnected after my mechanic repalced my octopus hose

hi all - here are some more pics of the MAPS sensor...should put it all in perspective...
i did have the light check engine light come back on today...it was the same issue...the tube was disconnected...i think what really happened was that my mechanic mixed up the vacuum hoses and used a larger one to connect to the MAPS as i didn't notice the first time that the hose was a little too big to fit on the plastic connector...i used a cable tie this time which should keep it on just fine...just wondering if there is another issue with the vacuum tubes...so we will see...
ps...that place the vacuum tube connects reminds me of that ear probe doctors stick in our ears...

Here I am in 2023, smiling ear to ear because I actually fixed something in my own car having read the info in this thread.
I recently had my throttle body inspected and cleaned due to the dreaded limp home mode after 10 min of driving.
seems they knocked this hose loose when dealing with the aforementioned issue.
Thanks for the detailed photos and description!
