Default P0328 Knock Sensor Error Code

So my check engine light is on, and have the generic "P0328 knock sensor 1 circuit high bank 1 or single sensor" code error.

I also have the "Jaguar P1111 intake air temp sensor circuit intermittent high voltage code" error.

1) I am assuming the P111 is nothing to worry about?

2) I'm assuming the P0328 will have to be addressed?

3) I think I am correct that the error indicates that it is the knock sensor located on the right-hand side of the motor, as viewed from the driver seat?

4) I have read jimlombadi's excellent forum post on the knock sensor replacement, but cannot find knock sensors at the low prices he quoted all those years ago...........all I can find are in excess of $100.00 Anyone know of cheaper options? (part W0133-1655837)

5) I am using a Cent-Tech OBDII and would like to clear the check engine light, but am cautious when warned that doing so will erase dct data and freeze frame data............is this something I should not do? Or is it okay to erase the codes?

All input greatly appreciated.

Thank you KC, I just read a post by jagwhiting from 2014 that also supports the SU7012 usage, and o a post by member blurdg too, so maybe I'll go that route

Yes it's just a little bit longer but functionality is the same.

I cleared the check engine light, (and DTC/freezeframe data). Let's see how long it stays out.

Have ordered two SU7012 knock sensors on Amazon, $32.00 each.

No I realize the P1111 is not a knock sensor error, it was the P0328 code that I was following to the knock sensor.

It's not the meaning you put. It's a status code.

With the recent work you've carried out, maybe a re-seat of the connector will get a better signal. You can test the KS with a multimeter, they Ohm out at 200K.
I've had similar KS faults, blast the connections with contact cleaner and shove them on and off a few times, no new parts required

Thanks Sean, I'm thinking you may be right, I was a bit hasty ordering new ones, the motor was running rough with the error check engine light on, so I thought I better get some here asap. I will unplug, clean, and replug the connectors, and see if the problem persists, if not I have some spare KSs on the shelf!
