Today I started having problems starting my XJR. Sometimes it would start fine but the now it's started to dim really bad on the instrumentation panel. The Check Engine Light came on. I have a scan tool and the code read P0560 and P1000. The p0560 code means System Voltage Malfunction. Master Tech need your help and advice!

Well today it died at Panera's on Peachtree Rd. I tried to read the codes but the scan tool couldn't do it because the car didn't have any electrical power. I had it towed to Buckhead Imoorts Performance for examination. I was told by tow company that it goes further than the battery.

Okay as usual the car wouldn't duplicate what it did the day before when it wouldn't start. It started right up and couldn't be duplicated. So on Monday they are going to change the relays (7 of them in all). But for some reason I don't think it's going to work. I am going to have the alternator inspected and the battery checked. I am also going to have the alternator belt checked for tightness.
