I'm looking for information about a part that looks to be simple plastic ribbed hose but I cant find any information on it. I know pics would help but for dont have the capabilty to upload pics anymore with this new computer.

Anyways it's the ribbed hose that is connected to the air intake boot thing. The first connection right after the air filter house that goes from the said connector to the engine. Mine recently broke in two and seemed to tripped the check engine light.

Any idea what the part number is and or where i can find a new one? Of course the dealership is probably would have been the firts reply but if this dealer knew everything or anything really, I wouldnt be here asking. The dealer here is a JAg/Audi/Subaru dealer. They dont seem to know much about Jags in the service department and it seems that Jaguar was kind of shoehorned into it. I mean you know if you walk in the service department of the BMW they have the accessory counter of BMW stuff ,same with Cadillac, Lincoln, MBZ, Chevy, Dodge, and etc. Yeah, this dealer have an accessory counter...full of Audi stuff. And the other counter is for Subaru only. No Jag only counter, have to go to the Audi side, talk to Audi mechanics and they are about as cluseless about Jag parts as a squirrel is about how a NASA Spaceship works. Well the squirrel probably know about the spaceship than these guys know about Jag parts.

It's basically what looks to be a breather hose at least that what I would call it and it looks like it's function. Anyone know where to find one?
