Pcv valve part number?
The internet is not being nice to me today. I can’t find the Pcv valve for my kitty.
2000 xj8 vdp L, non sc
im getting banks too rich codes, so I’m working down the list. Oil is seeping anyways, so wouldn’t hurt to replace. Think there may be a grommet too?
I can find s types and the 2003 series, but not the ones for this.
can anyone point the way to me?
I appreciate you and your wisdom

Well, I look like an idiot. Good thing that I’m used to it.
when I looked up Pcv valve, it showed me things that looked like this. But think those were for a Jeep.
what is this and what does it do? It’s on both sides of the engine, both leaking oil. Not much, but enough to be annoying.
thanks for your answers, addicted and motorcarman.

So i have a question then does wet spots around areas like this indicate a potential leak? Pertaining to a thread i made maybe week ago now i have a evap leak my full load breather seems to be either letting oil out or something because that area is not dry like it should be like when you spill a bit of oil topping up but not soaking wet either being this is on the side of the engine the oil filler is not i presume its letting oil out potentially under load gas cap is not as pretty as it should be but seals nice and tight also used some high milage oil to rehydrate the seal which worked great it allthough it closed well and tight before it very snug now as it should be my code was P0442 for reference
