Default Pedantry : What color are the belt receptacles ?!

What color are the seat belt buckles, mine are badly faded & looked to once be blaze orange or red ? I'm going to recolor them any tips like what media & color etc. Or would it be easier to source better used units.

Thanks

Ok about to tackle this soon any tips on how the buckles remove, & do they disassemble where as I could remove the red button part to paint without having to tape etc.

Got around to it, the cheap ceramic coating method makes it better pics below, the heat method destroys vintage Jag plastics fashioned from eggshells & unicorn tears. Luckily I destroyed my rear buckles where there's rarely any passengers & not legally required lol. Found some nice ones on eBay for the win

$7 Ceramic Coating

Old to treated/dry comparison

Heat Destruction lol.

New to me receivers arrived today, I'm gonna ceramic coat before install & be ahead of the game. Curious to what's involved with install I hope I don't have to remove entire seats lol.

They look great w/ natural lighting much richer to the eyes not camera optics, well pleased.
