Default Picked up the new 03 XJR today. Couple questions.

Picked up the new car for the wife today. Its a quartz metallic 03 XJR. Spent much of the afternoon cleaning the inside, conditioning the leather and putting a good coat of wax on it. Tomorrow is an oil change and setting the memory stuff. Anybody know where the oil cooler would be if it is fitted as I don't know if it has one or not and of course that changes the capacity by a quart. Also, the rear pass side door actuator doesn't work. I'm assuming it is probably the motor but wanted to get a second opinion before I tear into it. There's an ebay seller in the UK that has 4 of 'em for thia door for like $20 plus shipping. Of course its used but that's a whole lot cheaper than a new one or any of the US sellers. Would rather buy the part and have it here when I take the door off unless someone says that the wiring or brain is likely to fail.

Car drives great btw but I do prefer the X type or TVR around town. On the highway though the XJR really excels. Definately the biggest car I've ever owned (my old F-250 doesn't count) so it is taking a little getting used to for parking!

Yeah, the door lock mechanism isn't working. I'm assuming it is that part but before I ordered one wanted some other thoughts. Fingers are too fat for my netbook!

Benebob - I read your post and went out and looked to see if there was anything missing in my garage. I must say you have excellent taste in Jags

Who says Jags can't be work horses? Two Jags and one is a winter beater and the other is a tow vehicle. Love it.

Beautiful car - congrats. I back in my XJ8L to make things easier... and park far away from any car under $50K.
