Is it Possible to remove timing cover without
1999 x308, non supercharged.
Hello , I have the balancer pulley off to fix the oil seal , and recall oil leaks from the right side of the timing cover somewhere AND from underneath the pulley located in the "V" section Valley between the 2 camshafts in the middle top of the timing cover .
Im assumming this leak is also emanating from the timing cover gasket in that V section..... could it be anything elsein that area ?
Im not so sure hat applying some gasket sealant externally will fix any of these leaks, so im considering redoing the entire timing cover.
As such, I was wondering if its possible to remove the timing cover without removing the cam covers to fix these leaks.
best regards
Peter
